re: PHXX Aims at Telcos Wanting to Add OTT to Their Pay TV
This article is not an entirely accurate description of PHXX’s role with Etisalat. PHXX has contracted with Endavo to deliver certain components of the overall platform for Etisalat and their partner telcos as stated in “Endavo Media Offers Complete OTT Video Services Solution for Global Operators” http://tinyurl.com/73p4azd.
Endavo Media is the platform for Etisalat’s OTT services – http://tinyurl.com/6mrq8z5 ; http://tinyurl.com/82k37eq

Peter,
You are entirely correct in that Endavo is licensed to deliver the overall OTT platform. PHXX’s role is central to the actual managed OTT Telecom component of the service whereby we all appreciate Endavo’s leadership role as well as role as licensing content aggregator, licensing DRM, and and the CDN services.
We are all excited as Etisalat’s service roll out into the broader region and generates a truly valuable service for the end-users!
