This week, Revision3, a small Internet video network, announced a strong showing in video growth — a good contrast to 2008’s downsizing at the firm. The company now has 1.5 billion minutes of viewer engagement annually and had its revenues grow 30% in 2009. Ad sales revenues for the company increased 50%. The firm’s big successes are said to be coming from its recent partnerships with set-top box makers like TiVo, Boxee, PopBox and Clearleap. The company said it plans to expand to similar distribution offerings throughout 2010. |
